1) Improve the photos on your adverts. A picture is a thousand words and all that. Our own research has shown that the biggest single factor affecting villa rental online conversion is the images. Take photos when it is sunny – a shot of a breakfast table fully loaded with fresh local produce is a sure fire winner. Play to your strengths with your photos and take pictures of the most beautiful bits – however don’t leave out for example an exterior shot, it might seem suspicious to potential villa renters.
2) Sign up to holiday lettings. It’s where your customers are looking and they are spending over two million quid on advertising this year.
3) Make time for yourself to enjoy the villa !. Don’t fall into the trap of making your holiday home rental a chore and a bore. Where possible reserve some time for yourself and friends and family to enjoy the villa.
4) Update and improve the really useful information you leave in the villa for your guests. You want your guests to have a great time, tell all their friends and come back themselves don’t you ?
